US shoe size to UK
The shoe sizes in the US and UK are very similar.. In the US, the sizes are different for men and women. For example, 10 US is 9 UK or 8 UK. For women, the US size starts with 2 because the size is 2 times larger than the UK size. As for men, the sizes start from 1 and the size is 1 larger than in the UK. Thus, women’s sizes 1 and 1.5 US correspond to children’s sizes 12 and 12.5 UK. If there is a common scale, add 1.5 regardless of the size type (woman or men).

As can be seen, numbering in the US for adults generally starts with a size of 2 for men and 3 for women. Smaller sizes may overlap with children’s sizes. In the US, counting of sizes starts with one, not zero, as is the case in the UK.
Shoe sizes in the US
The US and Canada use a similar shoe size system to the UK. In the traditional system used in the US, the difference depends on whether the shoe is male or female. However, a common scale is also used in the US which is easier to use. Its use is to add 1.5 sizes regardless of whether it is women’s or men’s size.
